Fabricating stories.


Is it ever ethical to fabricate stories? 





Fox news recently apologized for using fake headlines in a piece about bears quarterback Jay Cutler.





All the headlines used that had supposedly come from Chicago newspapers were found to be false.

Validity of your sources

I saw this video and apart from it being a ridiculous story that reminds me of some of the storys we would get in the tabloid papers in England, I was astonished that a news company used Urban dictionary as a legitimate source.

Is it ethical to use a source like urban dictionary to make your story more exciting?

Wikileaks

Wikileaks raises a lot of questions about journalism ethics. It was said that in its short time Wikileaks has released more scoops than the Washington Post!

This  documentary is an hour long but fascinating and definitely worth a watch, but be warned some of the footage may be a bit upsetting for some.
